Two weeks and several manicures later.

Due to coming down with the flu, I've neglected posting for the last two weeks. To make up for it, this is going to be a bulk post with lots of picture spam.

KOTW: Autumnal

Since I haven't updated in a few days and have had two different manicures in that time, this post will be a Konad-of-the-Week.

I've been experimenting with plate M51 lately, in particular with the small flower design. When I first received this plate I figured I'd never have a use for it because of its size and my tendency to prefer designs that cover more area, but multiple stamps on each nail works just fine and has turned this design into a favourite.

I also tried 'frankening' (god I hate that word, but what else can you call it?) for the first time with NYC's Manhattan. It barely looked like the plum shade I was expecting when I first tried it, and instead dried closer to a dusty brown colour. I didn't mind that much, but it was still disappointing.
After adding a bit of white it became an absolutely beautiful plum that's still dark but light enough to look like purple, not brown, both in the bottle and on the nail. I'm much happier with it now, and considering I didn't have the heart to take it off just yet, it might even be one of my new favourites.

KOTD: Bronze Tiger

Although the main reason I bought M57 was for the leopard print, I had no idea I'd like the tiger print as much as I do. I've already used it with a few different colour combinations, but my favourite is still the classic orange/black.

KOTD: Fuchsia Leopard

Although I love M60 and S9, I felt it was time to expand my Konad collection and find something new to play with. I ordered M51 and M57 last week, and my new plates finally came in today!

Naturally my day-old manicure didn't stand a chance, and was quickly sacrificed for the sake of hot pink leopard print. This might be the most girly manicure I've had in a really long time, though it's a nice change from the edgier colours I've been choosing lately. It actually reminds me a lot of Lisa Frank, so let's just say I'm indulging my inner 10-year-old at the moment.
